The Indus initiative Council is a youth-based non-partisan policy research think-tank that works through a collaboration with elected representatives, policymakers, and administrators, to ensure the effective implementation of the “United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development along with India 2030”.

Indus initiative Council aims in facilitating the outreach of various social welfare schemes to the grassroots level through the concept of Constituency Development through UNSDGs. The organisation also identifies potential inputs for sustainable and achievable outcomes, while ensuring optimum use of minimum resources. We further look forward to build a holistic synergy between top-down model of governance by collaborating with private investors, technologists, policy- makers, thinkers amongst various others. We also seek new innovations along with bottom-up interventions, which includes sustainable development approaches through the identification of actual needs, issues and aspirations via a mechanism which begins from grassroots community thereby transforming good governance to green governance. At Indus initiative Council, we believe that it is important to promote and bring today's youth on the front foot for the development at ground zero by involving them in policy- making and governance. It is indeed crucial to provide a platform and strategize development in target constituencies thereby making them an Ideal Parliamentary Constituency.

Indus Initiative Council is a Govt. of India recognized (80G, 12A, 8A compliant), non-profitable company dedicated for the development and welfare of the underprivileged citizens, Indus Initiative Council (IIC) also owns a monthly national news magazine Rashtriya Chanakya Varta.

Rashtriya Chanakya Varta is performing not only the media dharma but also carrying out their social responsibility from the dais of media. Rashtritya Chanakya Varta also works over the Central and State government schemes and policies and advertises them to bring more awareness on public about the same.

The Indus Initiative Council (IIC) as a part of its CSR Activity operated various Healthcare Facilitation Drives in various districts of India such as Mobile Medical Units, Sanitary Napkins Distribution, Health Camps, Eye Check-up camps, installation of Solar Street Lights, providing Sewing Machines, RO purifier in rural areas for betterment and upliftment of the society etc.

To provide the needy citizens with easy accessible and essential healthcare facilities, self-employment in the rural areas, street lights without any power cuts in rural areas, healthy and clean water in rural areas, Indus-IIC proposes to operate and provide Health ATMs, Medical LabotaryEquipment, Solar Street Lights, Sewing Machine’s, education Bag for school children and RO purifier in various districts of India.

A Health ATM offers health-related services and products like basic medical check-ups, measuring vital signs like blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and even conducting simple diagnostic tests like blood glucose levels.

Through our initiative we are focusing on upliftment of the lives of the people in the rural areas. Sewing machines is a big help for uneducated females across the city and Nation. We would train them on the use of the said machine which would not only create a source of employment for them but also would work in the betterment of their live’s.

We Indus Initiative Council (IIC) are also empanelled with NAFED & KENDRIYA BHANDAR to promote and provide the needy people of the schemes of government for the needy one's. We have been providing fair price Bharat Dal in just 60 Rs, Bharat Aata 27.50 and have been serving the needy ones with the NAFED products through our mobile vans, essential points where we can serve the needy people.

Our Vision

Our vision is to address the “United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development along with India 2030” by adopting a holistic strategy till 2030, through a comprehensive approach between the hierarchy of Governance and their stakeholders. The Indus Initiative Council emphasizes on inclusive planning and implementation of various existing policies at the Grassroots community through viable and successful plans before we reach the deadline for achieving SDGs according to Agenda 2030.

Our Mission

The Green Governance Initiative’s mission is to provide both effective and essential support in Governance vide policy-making and analytical research for the implementation of the same through UNSDGs at the grassroots level.
